Tigger

I was so excited to see that ABC Family was playing the "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day" so I recorded it. As I set that up I noticed they were doing "Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too" so I recorded that as well. JD and I watched them as Isaac put Rae to bed. It was great to watch and try to remember them. Like I had forgotten how Tigger got down from the tree after he and Roo ended up at the top. Do you remember? JD was really enjoying watching Tigger jump around in case you forgot or just want to sing along:
The wonderful thing about tiggers
Is tiggers are wonderful things!
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs!
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is
I'm the only one
Tiggers are cuddly fellas
Tiggers are awfully sweet
Ev'ryone el-us is jealous
That's why I repeat... and repeat

The wonderful thing about tiggers
Is tiggers are marvelous claps!
They're loaded with vim and vigor
They love to leap in your laps!
They're jumpy, bumpy, clumpy, thumpy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
But the most wonderful thing about tiggers is
I'm the only one
I-I-I'm , the only... oof!
Ouch!

He was full of smiles and laughing as I sang along. Because who doesn't love to sing along with him when I realized that I have seen this smile in JD before. Its the same one he gets when watching Rae bounce around the room. I was realizing this as I was coming to the realization on my own of the similarities. When we watched "Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too" I almost cried I know I cry at everything but this was serious. A couple of months back I went to visit my bestest friend and we talked and I told her how I felt about how people feel about Rae's energy, it still makes me upset. I feel like people just can't handle her. So I don't take her out, I don't want to be around people with her. I know I can't save her or me from people forever but I want her to live at least a few years without the cruelty that is humanity! I digress... anyway. When we watched Rabbit do to Tigger what people do to Rae I remembered the end of the story how all stories like this end they really do love him for who he is and everything is good. While this is a frustration of mine because I know people who this does happen to they are dumb and rude and people really just think they are the greatest thing and don't tell them the truth even when asked... trust me people who aren't helping anyone it doesn't happen to me or my parents or sister and so I fear and have seen that it isn't going to happen to Rae. BUT in watching JD's reaction and being reminded that Tigger is my favorite Winnie the Pooh character, I love Rae and I love who she is. I wouldn't change her for anything. Now I just need others to feel the same way. Or be surrounded by enough people who feel the same way I do to cancel out the crappy people. And I don't want false crap. If you have a problem don't look me straight in the face and tell me you think she is the greatest, cause that just ticks me off even more!!

Ok. I wanted this to be a happy post about how JD and I love Tigger and Tigger reminds us of Rae. Here is a video sing-a-long actually to help you appreciate Tigger and therefore Rae also.
